press play to hear from Planned Parenthood’s Laura Dickey
With health insurance benefits being cut, Planned Parenthood of the Heartland wants women in Iowa to know that the Iowa Family Planning Network is available to them, before they decide to skip a prescription or annual exam to save money. Laura Dickey with Planned Parenthood says women don’t need to sacrifice their birth control or reproductive health care during this hard economic time. Dickey says it covers one annual exam per year, a year’s worth of conception and limited S-T-I testing and treatment. Dickey says birth control and preventive health care for women is available free through the Iowa Family Planning Network at Planned Parenthood of the Heartland clinics.
