The All-State Football Teams are out and one Washington Demon was among those receiving the high honor of being included. There are essentially two different all-state teams, one that is put out by the Iowa Newspaper Association and the Des Moines Register picks their own all-state team. Both have a lot of the same names but there are some differences. The year as part of the Des Moines Register’s All-State Team for class 3A, Washington Demon safety Jordan Vittetoe was selected second team defense. This season Vittetoe was the Demons leading tackler both in total tackles and in solo tackles. Vittetoe also recovered two fumbles.
