The Demon volleyball team was back in action after a long layoff and beat Fairfield Maharshi in three. The Demons hadn’t played for a little over a week after having last week’s match with Mount Pleasant postponed because of a flu outbreak in Mount Pleasant. The Demons got down 12-4 in the first game but came back and won the first 25-21, they’d take the next two games 25-13 and 25-13. Demon Head Coach Jeff Spenner says the big thing is they didn’t hurt themselves much and had many more kills than errors. For Washington:
