Fairfield Senator Becky Schmitz is making a push for improved communication systems between local emergency agencies. Schmitz says she wants public safety officials to be able to communicate with each other better during an emergency. The Fairfield democrat says its important for officials to talk to one another regardless of whether they work for state, county or local governments or whether their specialty is law enforcement, firefighting, or medical care.
