A couple from Missouri got a surprise after getting pulled over near Kalona last week. Ron and Cheri Cunningham didn’t break any traffic laws, but were invited for an all expenses paid visit to Kalona. Kalona Chamber of Commerce President Larry Moeller helped to organize the promotional stunt. He says the Cunninghams were treated to free meals and lodging, and were also given tickets to the upcoming fall festival.
