Earth Day Louisa County

Louisa County Conservationin partnership with the AmeriCorps’ National Civilian Community Corps will host an Earth Day clean-up event on the Iowa River in Louisa County. Katie Hammond with the Louisa County Conservation says the Earth Day clean-up event will be Saturday, April 18th from 8:00 am 3:00 pm. She says volunteers will be working on the Iowa River from Cappy Russell to the Ferry Landing in canoes and motorized boats to pick up trash and debris left over from last summers floods.
