A Washington County murder trial has been postponed, again. This is the fourth time the trial of 70-year-old Thomas Lee Hansen of Riverside has been delayed.
This time the case was delayed because the judge granted Hansen a continuance, despite County Attorney Larry Brock’s objections. According to Brock, they felt this case should have gone into trial on the day it was rescheduled, which was October 8th.
Pending any further delays the trial will start on November 26th. Hansen is accused of shooting and killing a woman in May of 2011.
