The Washington County Obesity Prevention Task Force is preparing to give two programs about obesity prevention this month.  The programs will talk about how to start an obesity prevention program in the workplace.  These programs can lead to less absenteeism and reduction in health costs.

The current adult obesity rate in Washington County is 29% where it’s 28% for the entire state and 25% for the nation.  The programs are next Thursday in Washington and the following Thursday in Riverside.
