Elsewhere in softball, Highland beat Winfield-Mount Union 8-0. Mariah Freel pitching for the Huskies struckout eight and gave up three hits. Allison Sojak had a double and Paige Wieland went 2-3 scored two runs and had an rbi. Highland is now 5-0 in the conference and 8-3 overall.
