The Community Foundation of Washington County is hosting an event to educate community members on “the business of building endowments”.  Group board member Colleen Sojka will explain how endowed funds create grants that can be used for community and economic development, as well as scholarships and the arts.  The “Learn at Lunch” event will take place on Monday, June twenty-first from noon to 1pm at the Iowa State Extension Building in Washington.  Reservations can be made by contacting Ann Moore at the Washington Chamber of Commerce.
