The Highland Huskies had Wapello at home in softball last night and the Huskies got up early. In the bottom of the first Highland scored five runs on their way to a 6-0 win. For Highland, Taylor Vonnahme went 3-3 with a double and an rbi, Morgan Fischer was 2-3 with two doubles and two rbi’s, Mollie Kleopfer was 2-3. Pitcher Mariah Freel threw a one hit shut out striking out five. Highland was coming off a 12-0 win in three against IMS.
