Kalona is preparing for its Citywide Garage Sale and Cleanup Day. The cleanup project is accepting trash, grills, old appliances, tires, computers and other items at the west parking lot at the Kalona City Park from 9am to 1 pm Saturday. Yard waste, paint, car batteries and hazardous waste will not be accepted. Call Johnson City Refuge to find out what items are acceptable. The Kalona City wide Garage Sale is also on Saturday.
