The Demons girls basketball team was in Pella Saturday, fresh off locking up at worse a conference championship tie beating Keokuk on Friday. Against Pella, the Demons had a nightmare first half being held scoreless in the first and to just six points in the first half. Demon Head Coach Phil Long says down 28-6 at halftime, they came out fighting in the second half and pulled within nine late but ended up losing 55-44. For Washington, Cassey Sobaski ended up with 13, Sydney Greiner had 11, and Caitlin Fishback had 7. The Demons are now 14-3 on the season.
