Washington School Board members are moving forward with a plan to build a new high school, even though voters said no to a property tax bonding measure in September. The new plan calls for using sales tax money. Richard Bordwell was the only board member who voted against the plan. He felt they weren’t being responsive to the wishes of voters. Construction on the new high school is expected to begin in the spring.
