Snow Days Lead to a Shorter Spring Break at Mid-Prairie

Posted By Community On @ 6:23 am In Today's Local News | Comments Disabled

Mid-Prairie is making changes to this school year’s calendar to make up for their 4 snow days. Superintendent Mark Schneider explains that Mid-Prairie’s policy is to add those onto the end of the calendar, which would have meant the last day of school would land on the Tuesday after Memorial Day. Instead, the school board has approved a measure making the last day of Spring Break, Tuesday, April 2nd, a school day. Mid-Prairie’s last day of school will now land on Friday, May 24th.
