In an effort to make the area’s pets easier to identify, the local animal shelter is offering low-cost microchipping this weekend. Today and tomorrow, Paws and More Animal Shelter is holding the event at their location in Washington from noon to 4 and at the Petcos in Coralville and Marion.  The reduced fee of $20 includes the painless implant of the chip and national registration, meaning nationwide identification, should your pet get lost. There’s no need to schedule an appointment.
