Washington County 4-H Needs Help
Posted: November 27, 2012 @ 6:22 am In Today's Local News
The Washington County 4-H program needs assistance from a couple more adult volunteers to help make their youth-centered events and projects happen. The 4-H Youth Coordinator Amy Green says that although they are always on the lookout for people to help, right now they are needing a dairy superintendent and also a Brighton representative for the 4-H and Youth Committee.
The dairy superintendent would help coordinate the dairy show at the county fair including: setting up the barn and arranging for a judge. The 4-H and Youth Committee consists of adult volunteers that meet once a month to supervise and plan activities, help during the county fair, evaluate policy, and create new programs.
