The Iowa Farm Service Agency wants to remind local producers there is still time to nominate eligible candidates to serve on FSA county committees.  Executive Director John Whitaker says it’s important for local farmers and agricultural producers to get involved so that they can help build a strong foundation for future generations.

He says because of this they’re also encouraging the nomination of beginning farmers, women, and minorities.  For more information on nominations, contact your county’s FSA office.
