“Hats Off” to Hostetler and Bender; IMS Wins Again

The IMS Soccer team has hit their stride, downing Southeast Iowa Superconference foe Highland by a 9-0 score Monday night. IMS found the back of the net first with Matt Libby scoring less than two minutes into the game. 20 minutes later it was Tommy Rhodes’ turn to score off of an assist from Justin Boller. One minute later Chance Miller made it 3-0 and Nicholas Yoder made the score 4-0 going to the break.

The second half picked up where the first left off as Dillon Bender found the back of the net twice early. Hostetler and Bender would each add one more goal as they both posted hat tricks. Highland falls to 4-6 and will next take the pitch Thursday at Holy Trinity. #8 IMS stands at 10-1 on the season and will next be in action tonight as they host #2 Iowa City Regina.
