The Southeast Iowa Band, which is made up of musicians from all over Southeast Iowa, will be performing a spring concert in Mount Pleasant tomorrow. Band Director Robert McConnell says they will be performing a wide variety of music, and they hope to appeal to everyone. He tells us his favorite piece to perform is the Light Cavalry Overture. Its a popular song, although most people don’t know the name, and it’s easily recognizable, says McConnell. The band will perform at the Iowa Wesleyan College Chapel Auditorium at 7:30 tomorrow. Tickets cost five dollars.
