Residents have one last chance to take advantage of extra hours at the Washington Waste Water Treatment Plant and Yard Waste Center.  The center has been open extra hours in November.  Washington residents have been able to haul their own waste to the center from 7:00 to 4:00 Monday through Friday and from 7:00 to 10:00 Saturday mornings throughout the month.

The only things that cannot be accepted are lumber or building materials of any type.  Residents who use plastic garbage bags are asked to dump the contents and take the bag with you when leaving.
