Local Educator Named Teacher of the Year

Spanish teacher Regina Shantz has been named the Iowa High School Foreign Language Teacher of the Year.
Shantz was given the recognition at the annual conference of the Iowa World Language Association.
Shantz has been teaching Spanish for 30 years.
