The Washington School District is becoming the caretaker of a $141,000 trust established by a 1931 graduate of Washington High School. Dale Kiesey set up the 30 year trust for his siblings and their children, with the intention of transferring responsibility to the school district. His nephews, Brad and Jack Kiesey as well as Everett Kiesey Burham are the trustees. This week they began the process of making the district the caretaker, which plans to use the interest the money accrues for scholarships.
