A local team for Great Strides is hosting an event to raise awareness on Cystic Fibrosis. Breathe; A Day in the Park is a day full of activities and information for the community. There’s a 5K run/walk, a bake sale, raffle items, and a kiddy bounce in the park from 11-3 with the race beginning at 2pm. Registration for the race starts at 1pm in Washington’s Central Park. Marcy Stout with Team Rev it Up says there will be a lot of information about Cystic Fibrosis, and all proceeds will go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
