The Girls Union has released this year’s All-State teams and two area girls received honors including a Demon. In 3A, Demon point guard Cassey Sobaski made second team all-state. Sobaski was a four year starter at point guard for the Demons and reached the 1,000 career scoring mark early in her senior season. Mount Pleasant’s Taylor Shull who is a sophomore made third team all-state. In 1A, Highland junior Anna Sweeting made second team all-state. Sweeting is a post player who has been starting on varsity since her freshman year.
