Area residents are invited to learn more about the history of Christmas in Iowa this weekend. Mike Zahs with the Washington County Historical Society will be speaking at the Washington Public Library this afternoon. It’s the first in the newly established Edna Jones Speaker’s Series. A free will donation will be taken. Proceeds are going to the Historic Conger House. The presentation this afternoon at 2:00 at the library.
