Washington County Supervisors this morning (9/30) are slated to go into closed session to confer with an attorney about an ongoing legal dispute with the city of Riverside. The disagreement stems from a revenue sharing arrangement forged when the casino was built. The meeting starts this morning at 9:30 in the lower level of the Washington County Courthouse. The closed session is scheduled to begin at 10:00. Iowa law allows government bodies to close meetings when discussing matters where litigation is imminent.
