Hand Sanitizers or Soap and Water?

With flu season approaching many people may ask: soap and water, or hand sanitizer? Soap is more effective because the skin produces an oil that germs can stick to. Soap helps break down that oil. A good sanitizer needs to contain at least 60-percent ethanol alcohol. They shouldn’t be used on hands that are soiled or visibly dirty.
