Fall colors will soon be emerging in Iowa. The department of natural resources says leaves in the northern third of the state will begin changing color between now, and the second week of October. In central Iowa the colors start to show during the first three weeks of October. And in the southern part of the state the foliage will change during the second through fourth weeks of October.
