Winfield Fire and Rescue are hosting their annual soup supper fundraiser Saturday, October 15th from 5-7p.m. at the Winfield Fire Station, 110 W. Ash in Winfield. Menu includes chili or cheesy potato soup, lettuce sandwich, dessert and drink for a freewill donation. Dine-in or curbside pickup options are available.

Wellman Community Y Family Fun Night and Zombie Run

The Wellman Community Y is hosting a Family Fun Night and Zombie Run Saturday, October 15th from 5-8p.m. Be ready to be chased by zombies around North Park in Wellman. There will also be obstacles along the course. Registration fee is $20 and all proceeds go toward the scholarship program. Family fun activities including a free dinner, games and more will be inside the Wellman Parkside YMCA building.

Let’s Glow Crazy Family Night Hike Event

Let’s Glow Crazy, a night hike on the first mile of the Kewash Trail, begins in Keota on Saturday, October 15th at 6:45pm. Walkers are encouraged to wear glow decorations and look for glowing sights and dance sounds on this family-friendly hike. The Washington Public Library is hosting their Festival of Pumpkins through October 28th. Bring your uncarved, decorated or painted pumpkin to the library. Visitors will vote for their favorite October 17th through the end of the contest on the 28th when the winners are announced.
