Louisa County Conservation will be loaning out canoes and kayaks to the public to explore the Odessa Wildlife Complex on Friday, September 3rd from 5-7:30 p.m. and Saturday September 4th from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The cost per boat is just $5 for up to 3 hours or $10 for the whole day on a first come, first serve basis. All ages are welcome but children under the age of 16 need to be supervised by an adult. Staff will be on-site to loan out the boats, lifejackets, paddles and maps with some beginner paddling tips provided.  Everyone is encouraged to bring water, snacks and any other gear you may want.
