The Kalona City Council is scheduled to meet on Monday, with TIF Certification, grant acceptances, and the Vista Park projects set to highlight the meeting.

The council will discuss the acceptance of grant funding from the Iowa Economic Development Group and recognize municipal grant funds from the Washington County Riverboat foundation for the third quarter. 

The council will then consider accepting public improvements and paying retainage on the Vista Park project. 

The council will also consider a resolution certifying tax increment financing through the 2026-2027 fiscal year.

Other topics of discussion will include snow removal, credit card policy, the bridge inspection report, community center use, and a February street closure.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Monday in the Kalona Community Center.
