Today is the final day of Iowa’s annual tax free holiday. Each year the first weekend in August there is no sales tax on clothing and footwear items at every retailer open. The tax-free designation is only on single items under $100. Sunday is not included in the tax holiday, so today is the final day of the two-day event. Watches, jewelry and sporting equipment are not included in the annual sales tax holiday.
