This week’s KCII Football Athletes of the Week are Co-Winners after tying in the online poll. Washington Demon junior Clayton Evans and Mid-Prairie senior Tommy Miller. Evans was a hammer for the Demon defense in a tough loss to rival Mount Pleasant on Homecoming, finishing with 15 total tackles, 11 solo, an incredible nine for loss and three sacks. Miller, the senior lineman, earned the nickname “Touchdown Tommy” as he moved to the backfield for the #4 Golden Hawks in a 35-21 win at #15 West Liberty, scoring a pair of touchdowns and finishing with four tackles and two sacks on defense.
