The Washington City Council will be discussing MicroDIG funding for CITYPOINT Church this evening.
CITYPOINT Church purchased the former downtown YMСА building located at 121 East Main Street. The church is revitalizing the property. The total project cost is $23,399, and the grant amount requested is $10,000. The scope of work includes two improvements: exterior signage and professional painting that will preserve the building’s architectural character while enhancing its appearance and visibility along Main Street. The installation of high-visibility exterior blade signage directly aligns with Main Street Washington’s strategic goals for district-wide signage improvements.
Throughout the week, this building welcomes hundreds of people attending worship services, life groups, children’s and student ministries, special events, and community gatherings.
The council meeting is set to begin at 5:30 p.m. in Washington City Hall.
