A pair of senior leaders for this year’s Highland girls golf team are seeing the rewards from a big season on the course. Emersyn Schultz and Adisyn Prottsman were both named Class 1A All-District Region 5 by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association. The pair were top two for the Huskies in nine hole and 18 hole average. Schultz and Prottsman helped lead the Huskies to their third consecutive Southeast Iowa Superconference team title and team championships at their First Round Regional Tournament and Regional Final to advance to State for the fourth straight season. The Huskies would finish as State-runners-up in Class 1A at Boone.

Prottsman will continue her golf career collegiately at Luther College. Schultz will do the same at Central College.
