Thursday night in Washington means baked goods, fresh produce, live music, and more. The Washington farmers market will kick off at 5 p.m., and features over 40 local vendors.

The Thursday Night Live performance will be by Just Us Girls. Just Us Girls is a non-profit vocal ensemble group of women from the Washington area. They have been together since 2006 and have performed throughout the state. Their performance will feature a variety of songs: some about the weather and some old favorites. They will take the stage at 5:30 p.m. in Washington’s Central Park.

Washington Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, Michelle Redlinger shares what the Thursday Night Live performances bring to Washington each week, “Thursday Night Live, which is the Chambers summer concert series. Every Thursday from June, July, and two weeks into August, we’ll have live music on the band shell. It just kind of helps with the flow from Farmers Market to bands with a variety of acts.” The Municipal Band will continue the festivities with their musical talents starting at 7:45 p.m.
