Runs were at a premium when the Sigourney Savages traveled to Mediapolis for their baseball regular season finale. The Savages were able to scratch across a tally for a 1-0 win. The games three pitchers, Chase Clarahan for Sigourney and Quincy King and Max Griffin for MEPO, combined to allow just five hits across seven innings, striking out 23 total hitters. The Savages won the hit column 4-1 with a knock each for Lincoln Power, Clarahan, Hunter Sellers and Landon Conrad. Sellers scored the game winning run, while Clarahan went the distance on the hill, giving up one hit and striking out nine. Sigourney finishes the regular year 20-3, Mediapolis 14-8.
