Drivers should be aware that the on and off ramps at Highway 218 near Ainsworth will be closed for construction work for a couple of weeks. 

The Iowa Department of Transportation states that all entrance and exit ramps at that location will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays. These closures impact traffic trying to travel from Highway 218 to Highway 92, and vice versa. Drivers should plan alternate routes as needed.

Work is expected to continue through July 21st.
