The top ten Sigourney Savage baseball team flexed their muscles last week in a runaway win at English Valleys 21-0 in four innings. The Savages were all gas and no brakes on offense, scoring in each half inning, three in the first, six in the second, a nine run third and three more in the fourth. Sigourney out hit the Bears 9-1. Ryker Van Den Huevel provided the power, driving in a team high seven runs on three hits including two homers. Graham Moore added three hits with three runs scored and two RBI. Carson Davis knocked in three and Cason Kerr two. Lincoln Power, Hunter Sellers, Carver Russell and Lance Walden each had an RBI. Sellers locked things down on the mound, throwing all four frames without allowing a hit, walking just one and striking out 10. The win moved Sigourney to 2-1 while EV dropped to 0-1.
