Welcome To Riverside
The Riverside City Council has a variety of business on this week’s agenda, including filling a vacancy on the council. On the agenda is a resolution to approve a contract for Washington County Sheriff law enforcement services at an annual rate of $288,369, an increase of $3,772 from the current contract.
They’ll also consider a resolution to approve an appointment to a vacant seat on the council. The five candidates who filed for appointment include Bradley Fuhrmann, Edgar McGuire, Levi Schnoebelen, Nickie Nguyen, and Scott Adkins. The seat is vacant due to councilmember Chris Grinstead moving outside of city limits. McGuire and Schnoebelen both ran for city council last November.
To complete the meeting, the City Engineer and City Administrator will give their reports. The meeting will take place at Riverside City Hall at 6 p.m.
