Even across state lines, there’s no stopping the Washington Demon boys’ golf team this season. The Demons took another first place at its SEC meet at Deer Run Golf Course in Hamilton, Illinois on Friday.

The Demons scored a 311 as a team for the 18-hole tournament, 27 strokes ahead of second place finisher Mount Pleasant. Rajan Roth led the way at 74, then Drew Conrad at 75, then Carson Brown and Ethan Peebbler at 81. Kaleb Orr shot an 84, with Mitchell Zieglowsky, Landin Harris, and Tate Griner coming in at 94, 95, and 96 respectively.

After Mount Pleasant, third place went to Fairfield, Fort Madison took fourth, and Keokuk placed fifth.
