Thursday, the Keota Eagle boys and girls golf teams hosted a meet at Elmhurst Country Club in Oskaloosa.

The Eagle boys got the job done by the slimmest of margins, their team score 170 was better than BGM by one stroke. North Mahaska was third with a 184. Brennan McGuire was the Eagle leader with a medalist runner-up 40. Beckett Rhoads of BGM was the individual champion with a three-over 39. Other Keota cards included Porter Cave 42, Aspen Galindo 43, Tucker Sprouse 45, Blake Baker 46 and Jacob Libe 51. Keota is 22-11 following the win.

The Keota girls were third of three teams with their total of 239, BGM was the winner at 191 and North Mahaska in the middle at 203. Emily Conger was best for the Eagles with an 18-over 54. Meet medalist was Aurelia Roudabush with a 42 for the Bears. Other Keota cards included Brynn Conrad 57, Hadley Cave 63 and Halle Heisdorffer 65. The Eagle girls stand at 1-6 after the meet.
