Highland’s super sophomore Kamyrn Fink has been named to the Iowa Basketball Coaches Assocation’s 1A All-Region Team for Region 6.

Fink had a monster sophomore campaign, ranking second in Class 1A in steals with 141. Within the conference rankings, Fink was first in steals, second in points with 399, first in rebounds with 302, first in blocks with 48, third in made field goals with 140, second in free throws made with 86, and first in defensive rebounds with 230.

Other names on the Region 6 team include Lilee Boriskey and Rachel Eglseder of Edgewood-Colesburg, Kylee Pexa and Hailey Kipp of Dunkerton, Isabella Stika and Addison Steinlage of Turkey Valley, and Madisen Kellogg of Winfield-Mt. Union.

Highland finished 20-4 this season.
