Emergency crews responded to a fire at the KCII Radio tower in Washington on Monday morning. According to Washington County Communications, the incident occurred at approximately 7 a.m. on West 5th Street.

The fire was on the exterior of the building. Agencies that assisted at the scene included the Washington Fire Department and Washington Police Department.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
