A fuel fundraiser that will be taking place the next three months will support the Washington Community School District. 

The Washington Community School District is slated to be the recipient of a Fuel Up and Give Back pilot program by Agriland FS that will run from March 1st to June 30th. During that time, Agriland FS will donate 3 cents for every gallon of gas and diesel fuel sold at their Washington Fast Stop location at 425 Highway 1 and 92. 

At the end of the pilot program, the amount raised will be donated directly to the school district,  and those funds will be used toward enhancing educational programs and expanding learning opportunities for the students.  

The Washington Fire Department was a recent recipient of this initiative, and received a check for $8,550 in early February.
