Given for the very first time at the annual awards ceremony in Washington County 4-H history was the Phenomenal 4-Her Award.
The 4-H County Council team has been working to design the criteria for this for almost two years. This award is a way for 4-Hers to recognize other 4-Hers for making a difference at the club meetings. There is no application paperwork or interviews to receive this award. This award is voted on by each club.
The phenomenal 4-Hers are engaged at meetings, offer ideas, include others, welcome new members, participate in activities, show respectful behavior and have a positive attitude. One member was voted on at club meetings this fall to meet that criteria.
The phenomenal 4-Her must also have earned an outstanding record book award. The 4-H and Youth Committee reviewed these members’ record books to select the top four to represent our Head, Heart, Hands, and Health. Those four individuals were Braydon Clough, Charlee Read, Emma Alderton, and Siena Stanerson.
