The high school golf season officially wraps up today with the State Co-Ed Meet at Cedar Pointe Golf Course in Boone. The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks will send a pair of pairs to compete. Seniors Kylie Reinier and Warren Scarff will tee off for their 18-holes today. Reinier was part of a Golden Hawk girls team that qualified for state for the second straight season, finishing seventh in Marshalltown. She shot a season average of 94 on 18 this year to lead the Golden Hawks. Her low round of the year was 89. She will be joined by Scarff from the boys team. He shot a 92 average on his 18-hole rounds this season. His low round for 18 was 85.

The Hawks second team will be a pair of juniors with Madi Davidson and Drew Schlabaugh. Davidson, also a member of the state qualifying Golden Hawk girls, fired a 95 average for her 18 this year with a low round 89. Schlabaugh, led the Golden Hawks boys with an 85 average per 18, including a team low 82.

Format for today’s tournament is alternate shot. Action continues all day Tuesday at Cedar Pointe Golf Course in Boone.
