Not only will the Sigourney seniors wrap up another week tomorrow, but they will be closing out their high school careers as well. Sigourney’s graduation ceremony begins at 5 p.m. Saturday in the High School Gymnasium.

Before diplomas are given out, Superintendent Kevin Hatfield will speak, along with Valedictorian Nathan Wehr and Salutatorian Reagan Power. The audience will also hear a performance from the Sigourney band.

Colors for the Sigourney Class of 2023 are black and gold. Their flower is the gold-tipped black rose, and their class song is “Good Old Days” by Mackelmore and Kesha. The quote chosen by the Sigourney seniors is “There is a reason the windshield in a car is bigger than the rear-view mirror, because what’s in front of you is more important than what’s behind you.”
