Election day for the upcoming general elections will be Tuesday, November 8th, with all absentee ballots needing to be submitted by the time the polls close on November 8th. Any absentee ballots planned to be delivered by hand must be dropped off at the Auditors Office on the second floor of the Washington County Courthouse because there is no designated ballot drop box location in Washington.
The Washington County Auditors Office will be open on Saturday, November 5th, to service those who wish to cast their ballots early for the election. Washington County Auditor Dan Widmer spoke with KCII Radio about the services that will be offered this Saturday.
“We will be, that being the auditor’s office will be open on November 5th to help those people that want to vote on a Saturday. Perhaps their work schedule makes things a little more difficult, or perhaps it could be something else. So people can come in and take care of that on November 5th from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.”
